What changed to make Erin's design actually buildable in Wix

The approved design was drawn for a custom-built site. Wix's Classic editor has two hard limits it can't get around. This is every place the design hit one, and what it became instead.

Reference build: deliverables/wix-true/ · source design: deliverables/site-v3/ · 2026-08-05

The two hard limits. Everything below follows from those two.

Changes made

WhereDesign did thisWix build does this instead
Contact page The white form card was pulled up 86px so it sat half in the purple hero and half in the white section below — deliberately straddling the seam. Form sits fully inside its own section, directly under the purple hero. The hero keeps its full height so the page still opens on purple. Visually very close; the "floating over the seam" effect is gone.
About page Erin's portrait frame stayed pinned in place while the story text scrolled past it. Portrait scrolls with the page like everything else. Wix's "pin to screen" pins to the whole page, not to one section, so the bounded version isn't available.
Destinations page Region sub-cards laid out 3 across. 2 across everywhere. At 980 a 3-up grid crushes the cards; bigger cards read better. This is the only real casualty of the narrower width.
Destinations page Guide-count chip used a frosted-glass blur over the photo. Solid semi-transparent purple chip. Same job, no blur — Wix has no equivalent.
Every page Content area 1240px. Content area 980px. Colored and photo sections still stretch edge-to-edge as full-width strips, so nothing looks boxed in.
Every page Headline sizes scaled for a 1240 canvas (H1 up to 74px). Type re-cut for 980: H1 58 / H2 44 / H3 30 / H4 25 / H5 21 / H6 19. Body stays at 19px — never drops below 18, her audience is 55+.
