Enchanted Wanderings — Wix Build Sheet

Everything needed to rebuild Erin Baker's approved six-page site by hand in the Wix editor. All copy below is verbatim from the client-approved build at enchanted-concepts.pages.dev — paste it, don't rewrite it.

⚠ FIX THIS FIRST — her live site is losing phone calls.
Erin's live Wix site currently dials 859-469-6269. That number is stale. The number she gives out herself — and the one Google, Yelp and Yahoo all list — is (859) 363-6101. Every page below uses the correct number. Confirm with Erin, then fix it on the live site and on her Best of Lexington listing.
⚠ DO NOT BUILD THIS INSIDE HER LIVE SITE.
In Wix, the header, footer, fonts and colors are global — shared by every page. The moment you change them, her live pages change too, in front of real visitors. Wix Classic has no staging environment. Duplicate her site first and build in the copy. Full instructions in "Build it safely" below — read that before you open the editor.
Pages, in build order

!Build it safely — duplicate her site first

Why

Wix has no staging environment on Classic. The header, footer, fonts and color theme are site-wide — there is no way to set up the new design without it immediately appearing on the pages her visitors are looking at right now. So you don't build in her live site. You build in a private copy and swap at the end.

The sequence

#StepNotes
1Export her contacts to CSV from the live siteDo this before anything else. See the warning below — the duplicate will NOT include them.
2Duplicate the siteWix dashboard → the site's More Actions menu → Duplicate. Name it something obvious like Enchanted Wanderings — 2026 Rebuild.
3Build everything in the duplicateHer live site is untouched and keeps serving visitors the whole time. Nothing you do is visible to anyone.
4Erin reviews the duplicateIt has its own private wixsite.com preview URL. Send her that.
5Reassign the Premium plan to the new siteWix account → Premium Subscriptions → More Actions → Assign to a Different Site. This is free — you're moving her existing plan, not buying another.
6Reassign the domain to the new siteSeparate step from the plan. Do both in one sitting so there's no gap.
7Import the contacts + re-add analytics/SEOSee the warnings below.
⚠ Her contacts do NOT copy over. Wix's duplicate explicitly excludes contacts, invoices, and third-party app settings. Every lead in her CRM would be stranded on the old site. Export her contacts to CSV first, import them into the new site after the switch. Verify the count matches before you consider it done.
⚠ SEO settings and analytics do NOT move with the plan. Wix states that site-specific data — SEO settings, tracking tools, analytics — doesn't transfer. Her Google Analytics and Search Console setup has to be re-established on the new site. If you skip this, her traffic reporting silently goes dark on launch day. Re-verify Search Console after the domain moves.
What the duplicate DOES bring: all her pages, her design, her existing blog posts, and her installed apps. That's why duplicating beats starting from a blank site — her 19 real blog posts come along instead of being retyped.

Verify after duplicating: open the copy and confirm the blog posts actually came across before you build on top of it.
The phone number fix does NOT wait for any of this. That's a one-field edit on her live site. She is losing calls today. Confirm the number with Erin and fix it on the live site now, independent of the rebuild.

!!Read this before you touch a single URL

This is a re-skin of a 155-page site — not a 6-page replacement

Erin's live site is far bigger than the six pages in this sheet:

What's live todayCountWhat happens to it
Destination guide pages
/destination-guides/paris-france etc.
68LEAVE ALONE. Copy untouched. They inherit the new theme automatically.
Blog posts
/post/<slug>
40LEAVE ALONE. Keep every URL.
Blog category pages
/travelblog/categories/<cat>
10Leave alone.
Marketing + legal pages~37Six get rebuilt (below). The rest stay.
Total ≈ 155 indexed URLs. This sheet rebuilds 6 of them.
⚠ THE ONE WAY THIS PROJECT COULD HURT HER. Those 68 destination guides and 40 blog posts are almost certainly what Google ranks her for — the long-tail pages that bring in strangers. If you replace her site with a six-page site, you delete ~149 indexed URLs and her organic traffic collapses. Do not delete pages. Do not change their URLs.
Why the duplicate approach makes this easy. Changing the global header, footer, fonts and colors restyles all 155 pages automatically. Her guides and posts get the new look for free, keep their URLs, and keep their rankings. You hand-build only the six core pages on top of that.

Net SEO impact, done this way: neutral to positive. Same domain, same URLs, better copy, better page titles, better internal linking. No redirect map, no ranking loss.

Use these exact URLs — they already exist and already rank

Page in this sheetURL to useNote
Home/Already exists.
Services/servicesAlready exists — reuse it, don't make a new one.
About/aboutAlready exists — reuse it.
Contact/contactAlready exists — reuse it.
Wander Blog/travelblogNOT /blog. Her blog index is at /travelblog and posts live at /post/<slug>. Restyle that existing page — do not create a second blog.
Destinations/destinationsNew page. Her old index is /destination-guides-1 — set a 301 redirect from it to /destinations in Wix's URL Redirect Manager, or it drops out of Google.
⚠ The Blog page in this sheet is a RESTYLE, not a rebuild. The 19 posts listed on the Blog page of this sheet are a subset of her 40 real live posts. Do not recreate them and do not replace her blog. Restyle the existing /travelblog index and leave all 40 posts where they are. The 19 in this sheet are there so you know which images belong to which post — not as a list to build from.

Make the Destinations page a hub, not a dead end

The ten region bands should link into her existing guide pages — that's what turns the new page into an SEO asset instead of decoration. She already has these regional index pages live:

/europe-destination-guides /africa-destination-guides /north-america-destination-guides /south-america-destination-guides /oceania-destination-guides /destination-guides-1 (the all-guides index)
Gap, stated honestly: that's only 5 regional index pages, but the new design has 10 regions. Asia, the Caribbean, the Middle East and the Nordics have no regional index page to link to. For those, point the region card either at the relevant individual guides (e.g. /destination-guides/iceland) or at /destination-guides-1. Don't leave them linking nowhere.

Building at 980px (Classic Wix width)

The approved design was drawn in a 1240px content column. Classic Wix is fixed at 980px and can't be widened. That's fine — it's a narrower column, not a broken design. Two rules make it hold together:

1. Make every colored/photo section a FULL-WIDTH strip. In Classic Wix, section backgrounds stretch edge-to-edge even though the content inside sits in the 980 column. This is what preserves the look — the full-bleed purple bands and photo mastheads are the design's signature, and they survive intact. Set each dark band, each photo masthead, and the footer to full-width / stretched.
2. Content lives in the 980 column and grids lose a column where they'd get tight. That's normal and usually looks cleaner. The per-section counts are in the table below — build to those, don't cram the original column counts into 980.

Revised heading sizes for 980 (these REPLACE the sizes in the global type section)

LevelDesktop @ 980MobileLine height
H158px38px1.05
H244px30px1.08
H330px25px1.15
H425px22px1.2
H521px20px1.25
H619px18px1.3

Body sizes are unchanged: Paragraph 1 = 20px · Paragraph 2 = 18px · Paragraph 3 = 16px (Mulish). Headings = Cormorant Garamond Light. Keep the slight negative letter-spacing on H1/H2.

How many columns each multi-column section gets at 980

SectionDesignAt 980
Hero stats strip (90 / 7 / 50 / 30+)4 across4 across — stays; they're short
Home "3 ways to go" cards3 across3 across — fits
Home destinations grid (5 cards)2 + 32 + 2 + 1, or a clean 2-then-3; either reads fine
Home blog teaser (3 posts)3 across3 across — fits
Services "what's included" (9 checks)2 columns2 columns — stays
About credential cards (3)3 across3 across — fits
About year chips (2022–2025)4 across4 across — stays
Destinations region panels (2- and 3-up sub-cards)2 or 32 across everywhere — drop the 3-ups to 2
Blog index feed3 across3 across — Wix blog handles this
Footer4 columns4 columns — short link lists, fits
The only real casualty is the Destinations page: its 3-up sub-region grids drop to 2-up. Everything else survives at its original column count because 980 is only ~180px tighter and most of these grids had breathing room. When in doubt, fewer columns / bigger cards — never crush 3 into a space that wants 2.

Planning a big trip on your own usually goes one of two ways. Either you're so afraid of missing something that you over-plan every single day — or there are so many choices that you give up, wing it, and find out later what you walked right past.
It shouldn't be that way. I do the research, compare the options, coordinate the moving pieces, and hand you an itinerary built around how you actually like to travel. Then I stay on call while you're gone, because flights get delayed and things go sideways, and you shouldn't be the one on hold with an airline at 2 a.m. in Rome.

We booked our first cruise with Erin in hopes of making my parent's 50th wedding anniversary an unbelievably memorable celebration. She did not disappoint! She coordinated all 10 family members in multiple states and made sure that every detail, question and concern was addressed before we left… She even surprised us with several personal touches to make sure my parents' anniversary was as special and memorable as possible. As rookie cruisers, she gave us confidence and made the process so easy.

The animated plane "wander line" that ran down the page in an earlier concept was deliberately removed — it can't be hand-built in Classic Wix. Don't try to recreate it. This is a closed decision, not an oversight.

The honest answers

Q1

Why use a travel agent instead of booking online myself?
Because the internet gives you every option and no judgment. I've been to ninety countries — I can tell you not just what exists, but what's worth your time, what's overpriced, and what looks wonderful in photos and disappoints in person. And when a flight is cancelled at midnight, a website can't help you. I can.

Q2

What does a travel agent cost?
My first consultation is free. My planning fee is $100, which covers three custom proposals, the planning conversations it takes to get it right, full coordination of every booking, and 24-hour support while you're travelling. Groups and weddings are quoted separately.

Q3

Do you only book Europe and cruises?
Those are my specialties, but I've travelled to ninety countries across all seven continents and all fifty states. If it's on the map, there's a good chance I've been there or know someone who has.

Q4

Do I have to live in Lexington to work with you?
No — but most of my clients are here in Lexington and Central Kentucky, usually sent my way by someone they trust. I'm happy to meet in person if you're local, and everything works just as well over the phone if you're not.

Q5

What happens if something goes wrong while I'm away?
You call the 24-hour hotline and you get a human. Delayed flights, missed connections, a hotel that's lost your booking — I've been on the other end of all of it, and I know the steps to take. That's what you're really paying for.
SEO bonus: this FAQ has FAQ structured data on the approved build, which can win Erin an expanded Google result. Wix's SEO panel supports adding it — worth doing on this page specifically.

Section 3 — The ten regions (expandable photo bands)

Build note — this is the one section to simplify. The approved build uses a click-to-expand accordion: each region is a dark photo strip that opens a panel of sub-region cards. Classic Wix can do this, but it's slow to hand-build ten times. Recommended: build the ten photo bands as a simple grid or stacked list of linked cards first, get the page live, and add the expand behavior only if Erin asks for it. The copy below is the same either way.

Each band shows: index label (Region 01Region 10), region name, blurb, and a counts row (N Regions · N Guides). The expand control reads Explore with a +; open state reads Explore the guides with an ×.

Every expanded panel opens with an eyebrow ([Region] · [N] guides) and this italic note:

The sub-regions inside — each one somewhere I've stood.

⚠ RESTYLE ONLY. Her 40 live blog posts are not to be touched.
Do not build a new blog, do not recreate posts, do not change any post URL. Restyle the existing /travelblog index page with the header and closing CTA below and leave the posts alone — they keep their /post/<slug> URLs and their rankings, and they pick up the new theme automatically.

The 18 posts listed further down are a subset of her 40 real posts. They are here only so you can tell which image belongs to which post. They are not a build list.

Wix SEO panel — meta description
A new travel guide, destination note, or cruise tip every week from Erin Baker — a Lexington travel agent who's been to 90 countries. Real advice from someone who was actually there.
Decision made (Stacy, 2026-07-14): no change to the blog posts. Her existing Wix blog stays exactly as it is — all 40 posts, all URLs, all copy. You are restyling the /travelblog index page only: new header, new closing CTA, new theme. The post feed on that page is Wix's native blog feed and will populate itself.

Why this matters to your trip
Headline (H2) — italic on "genuinely fun."
I find the part you dread genuinely fun.
Have you always wanted to see the world but felt buried by the options? Do you not have the hours it takes to research every flight, hotel, ship and excursion — and check whether they actually fit together?
That's the part I love. Genuinely. I like the digging, the comparing, the puzzle of stitching an itinerary into something seamless. Most people find it exhausting. I find it fun, which is a strange thing to be good at, and a very useful one to have on your side.
And I've done the trip. For advisors like me, every journey is a working education — I come home with contacts, shortcuts, and hard-won opinions. I've also learned how to fix things on the fly. When a flight vanishes from the board, I know exactly what to do next, because it's happened to me.
